Bio:
Gustavo Cano is the Director of the Transnationalism Research Project
at the Mexico-North Research Network (Washington D.C.). He is also
the Co-Coordinator of the Working Group on Immigration and U.S.
Politics at the American Political Science Association for the period
2008-2010. He specializes in the political mobilization and
organization of Mexican immigrants in the U.S. and his research has
been published in Great Britain, U.S., Mexico and India. He obtained
his Ph.D. at Columbia University in the City of New York.
